Aliens, space ships and star wars characters are set to land in Logan North Library in August for Sci-Fi Fantasy Month.

A program of inter-galactic proportions is planned for the annual event, including medieval skirmish, movie marathons, author meet-and-greets and rocket building.

The program is packed with fantastic events including, the Lightsaber Challenge, a Sci-Fi Movie Marathon, Trivia Night and art sessions showing you how to build space aliens, a Star Ship Enterprise model and even rocket.

A number of leading Sci-Fi and Fantasy authors, including Marianne de Pierres/Delacourt; Rowena Cory Daniels; Trent Jamieson; Kylie Chan; and Louise Cusack, will also make guest speaking appearances at Logan North Library.

Sci-Fi and Fantasy Month will wrap up on 28 August with an action packed finale that includes: medival skirmish, Star Wars constuming; professional make-up artist demonstations; and Sci-fi & Fantasy themed craft activities.

A mega book sale and sausage sizzle and Sci-Fi dive-in movie at aqualogan Springwood will also round out the program.
